Painting the bathroom is going really slowly. Thankfully, this is the only work that’s getting done for awhile. Having no mirror in the morning sucks.

I recently upped the contrast because the original was sooooo lame and washed out. I’m glad that I’ve progressed enough to see how much improvement my old shots need.
With a house of that age, the walls previously may have been painted with oil base enamel. Check with the paint store or paint department. But I think you can primer the job with latex enamel and then paint with a High gloss Latex .
Be sure to talk to the paint guys first to be sure.

You have good advice. You can usually unscrew the plastic and take out the P trap. . .looks like a P. . .and the stoppage is usually there. To screw it back together you need to use teflon tape and run it around the male edges a couple of times and then screw the female part to it. Teflon tape is a wonder thing that you can do the same to stop your garden hose from leaking and many other wonderful things. If the p trap thing doesn't work, then you will have to run some type of tape through the open pipe at this point. I say call a plumber and stop dumping grease down your pipes and no coffee grounds.

There is no specific time for bathroom breaks. You go when you have to go. You just get up and go…..Normally you need to carry a Bathroom PAss so you won't get caught thinking you are cutting school………..
get some baking soda and an old toothbrush. If the brown stuff doesn't come off, try tilex and if that doesn't work then the brown stuff may be rust. You need Rust Off in that case. The brown stuff shouldn't be getting into your water, it is just a build up on the outside of the faucet.
